Project Management

Project management is the application of processes, methods, knowledge, skills and experience to achieve the project objectives.

Each project is a unique, transient endeavor, undertaken to achieve the planned objectives, which could be defined in terms of an extension or full build or just a bathroom. We consider a project a success if it achieves the client’s objectives according to their acceptance criteria, within an agreed timescale and budget.

The core components of project management that we use are:

  • defining your reasons for your project;

  • capturing your project requirements, specifying quality of the deliverables, estimating resources and timescales;

  • preparing a case study to justify your investment;

  • securing the agreements between parties and defining funding criteria;

  • developing and implementing a management plan for your project;

  • leading and motivating the project delivery team;

  • managing the risks, issues and changes on the project;

  • monitoring progress against plan;

  • managing the project budget;

  • maintaining communications with third parties within the project organisation;

  • closing the project in a controlled satisfactory manor insuring subcontractor certification is signed off, local authority documentation is finalised and delivered, quality control checks are made and you our clients are completely satisfied.

Using us as your project manager means that we are responsible for the day-to-day management of the project and will maintain competence at all times, managing the six aspects of your project, i.e. scope, schedule, finances, risk, quality and deliverable resources.
